TYPO3 is an open-source content management system. The first thought when mentioning open-source software is free software. It is true that TYPO3 requires no license fees, it is distributed under GPL. This is however not the main aspect of open-source software.

It is more important that the source is open. Accessible for everyone to customize it to their wishes. On top of it TYPO3 is constructed in a way that it is possible to develop your own extensions for the system. This has led to the vast amount of over 2000 free modules that give TYPO3 the enormous functionality. Just have a look in the 'extension repository'.

Netcreators contributes heavily to the development of these modules. We have developed dozens and cooperated on dozens*. That is why we can fulfill all functional wishes for you. Sometimes on the base of an existing module, sometimes by programming a complete new one. The solution is always at hand!

*Netcreators for example have one of the TYPO3 core-developers, Patrick Broens. He is the developer for the popular extension PB-Survey. A well known module that is co-developed by Netcreators is tt_news, the most used TYPO3 extension.
